Frank Loritz - Third Vice Commodore and Education
I began sailing in 1973 with St James Town Sailing Club as a complete newbie and have stuck with it and the club for 40 years. Although I have sailed other classes, I have stayed with the Albacore fleet because of the truly genuine camaraderie and high level of competition that the class represents.
In the past, I have served as commodore of St James Town Sailing Club and have also served as the Toronto Outer Harbour Sailing Club and site representative.
I continue to race regularly and promote the Albacore class whenever I have the opportunity.
In my capacity as Vice Commodore, Education, I hope to provide the opportunity to members to learn more about general boat maintenance and tuning, race management and skills development and to provide project support to our executive team.
