Event Description
The first Friday Night Race of 2012. In order to facilitate a better racing experience this season, all the race chairs came to a consensus and agreed there should be a number of modifications to the Sailing Instructions. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with them. The following are the most notable changes: Rule 30.3 (black flag) will always be in effect at the start The default course is a Triangle course which consists of 10 legs There is an optional 7 leg "Windward-Offset-Leeward" course The length of the windward leg will be set according to wind strength to meet a target time of 40 minutes from the starting gun to the first finisher There will be a Skippers Meeting at Jtown on May 4th at 5:45pm, this is not mandatory but will highlight some of the changes to this year's Sailing Instructions.
