About the CAA
The Canadian Albacore Association (CAA) supports Albacore fleets and activities throughout the country. Sanctioned events run from April until October. The class association provides many benefits including:
- a regularly published newsletter — “Shackles and Cringles”
- Frequent seminars, and on-water training
- Organization of the annual Canadian Championship regatta, as well as other events at the regional, continental, and International levels
Another benefit of a strong class association is a strong market for used boats. The Canadian Albacore Association is dedicated to keeping the Albacore sailing fun and affordable.
