Albacore racing is among the best one-design sailboat racing in Canada. Our sailors are incredibly competitive, skilled, and dedicated.
Regional, provincial, national, and international Albacore events happen throughout the year.
In racing, there's something for sailors at every level. There's no better way for beginners to improve their skills. Many clubs run weekly "skill building" sessions and "vice" regattas, so no matter your experience, don't pass up the opportunity to take part in this fun and challenging sport! And after we race we share our stories and toast our victories!
The CAA also runs several educational workshops throughout the year. Watch for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced clinics in your region to learn tuning, technique, and tactics from some of the best racers and teachers in Canada!
